I just found this blog: Parent Life. I just want it here as inspiration.

My mother was 17. I was raised well. I had a happy childhood and a loving home. I am 40 now and hoping to adopt. One of the ironies of my life. We are infertile. We'd love to be parents.
Teen pregnancy alone is not a reason not to parent. Sometimes it works. Sometimes parents in the "normal" age range suck. It should be about choice. True choice, not pressure or desperation.
I think both can be good: Parenting your child as a 17 year old and placing your child.
I wish this family the best.
