Uhhh why would they make adoption referrals? Oh right I remember now because everyone who places was going to have an abortion. I also noticed they didn't make any mention of if parenting resources were disributed. wouldn't that lower the number of abortions?
No they must not want anyone to parent either...lol. They only want to abort the babies..coz that's how they make the most money? right? or some such crap..
and don't forget.. all the poor babies that could have gone to good loving adoptive homes with people who really want them and deserve to be parents instead of being murdered..(please read with dripping scarcasm!)
Think about this - does Catholic Charities refer anyone to Planned Parenthood? For any reason at al1? I doubt it. I agree why should PP promote adoption?
As much money as they say PP makes, I would bet money that all the agencies, lawyers, etc. who facilitate adoptions make way more than PP ever will.
A few months ago, I made an appt. to talk to the people at my local PP. I wanted to know what they did.
They told me that they do not counsel women about their options. If a women wants a referral to an adoption agency,they give her one. If she wants an abortion they give her one.
They had a resource sheet that lists adoption agencies and parenting resources as well.
Did anyone else notice all the fuzzy yummy adoption imagery? It was all kids and their adoptive parents. No proud single moms that chose against abortion and their happy babies. Apparently, the only fuzzy yummy pictures happen when we shut up and do what we're told. Thank you for your amazing, outspoken blog. 11 years in, and I just realized birthmothers are using their voices too!

She has a very annoying voice, the way she says "adoption" with tension in her throat.
