OriginsUSA sponsered NY Hudson Valley RegDay is ON!!
I confirmed the local site on Friday. The Hudson Valley site will be at my local Hudson Valley Mall. There was a bit of concern as the mall management insisted that we had to have some sort of liabilty insurance, but OUSA does...so it's cool!
I am very excited as besides me, Ungratful Little Bastard and SoA's SisterStewie are all getting together to run this thing! So a) we get to all work on RegDay which is great, but then b) we all get to met and hang out too! So its a blogger party! I beleive I shall also see if this is something Max might want to come on down for.
I have a really great how to make a media packet thing sent to me by Sandy at Musing Mother about how to write a oitch letter so we get attention and all. I really have a goal of getting at least ONE of the local papers to write an article or something! Besides I am hoping that it gets more adoptees and moms to get out of the woodwork ..which would work great as I really want to start organizing a local support group soon. And if nothing else, just to make a presence in the community, get people thinking and start educating..and tie in OPen Records in NY too!! Weeeee..soo many birds to kill with this one stone.
Not that I have anything against birds at all!
