MA Open Records Survey

Calling all adoptive parents of, and/or adopted individuals who were born in, or adopted in Massachusetts! Help us research the impact of attempts to access original birth certificates in order to affect change in the law to gain access to birth certificates for all parents of adopted children under 18 years as well as adopted young adults and adults over 18 years of age! A Civil Right! Please fill out this survey by Sunday, March 18th and feel free to pass it on to any and all who may be interested. Your help is much appreciated. And I could not just find it.
I think I need to send the email directly to whomever. Like it got attached to my ISP or addy or something. I did post it at SoA, but I am sure it will have the same issue.

This is coming from some of the people who sold adoptees down the river last year with the amended open records bill that created a 34 year blackhole in which people adopted in those years cannot get their records. Everybody before or after can. As far as I can tell they're legitimizing "implied promises" to moms. How can a promise be implied. It is or isn't? Ther are 2 "open records bills" pending and hearingds wil be held March 21. They are all the same--or as we say, Blackhole x 3.

If you fill out the survey and you believe this blackhole is wrong, you should say so. I'm getting something out to MARTA tonight and probably on Bastardette tomorrow about the billsl and the hearing.

I'm still catching up from the AAC. Much interesting stuff has developed including the M's threatening to sue me. Due to possible litigation, I'm not discussing anything publicly, but some of it is on my blog.
