Piles of poop!
Ah I just jumped into one...here..I don't suppose I shall make anyone think twice...and I shall probably be told off in no kind way, but hey..I tried. At least I tried.
Then on the home front...
All I wanted was to get his change. My washer is broke and I was getting ready to go to the landrymat..so hunting for quarters. I couldn't find his change pile in the usual place, so I poke about in general areas of his room..open a drawer..see the metal box..open..just old trading cards, see another box...open..AHHH!! Dime bag of weed, rolling papers and lighter!!!
Call me crazy, but I am not upset that he is smoking pot. I expected that sooner or later. He is 15. We do not live in a vacumn. I am not niave. We have talked about it..not that I have given him the OK, nor condoned it..becasue a I have said "he acts goofy enough as it is" And he has siad to me many times in the past.." I don't smoke"..he tells me which ones of his friends do, how so and so got caught, etc. He knows adults who do...many more who have..as I tell him there are few that don't or have not..except for maybe his grandmother..so it's not like we are a "BAD BAD Marajuwana" house...but I expected to be told!!
I mean there is just NO reason to be sneaky about it from me...and the fact that he is always busting on me when I do something hypocritial...claims he hates hypocrites...just two days ago busting on a friend for being a 'stoner"..but he has his own kit box! Little rat!
Why do teenagers suck so bad! And I would like to know who he bought this shanky dirt weed off of. The stuff is shag. I have told him not to get crap and buy weed from kids coz then they get busted and they sell you out..plus it is a waste of money! I don't want him sneaky out of the house and smoking in allys where he could get busted. Man, just so stupid..and it was sooo not even hidden well. Dumbass.
Oh, he is so busted! And the worse part..he is already grounded for another three weeks for continuing to mouth off to DH when he was beged to just stop..and then already was caught ditching his grounding..and now THIS!
I guess the evil teen years are with me.

And Scarlett has her first loose tooth. Its a bottom one..discovered it was wiggliy on Saturday..then we went apple picking...oh eating all those apples has done a deal..I have never seen a tooth get rejected so quickly..the thing is beginning to hang. Can I say it...loose teeth gross me out. Se want me to touch it all day..ewwww! I have dreams about my teeth falling out, it bugs me..and I have to touch hers!

ReplyDeleteI agree with what you wrote. Sounds like some of these haven't realzed what is truly going on in the adoption world. Its funny a girlfriend went to a cpc back in may. In front of her husband and child, she was asked to give her child up for adoption not once but three times before she was told that she was pregnant.

ReplyDeleteAmy, I have worked with single moms-to-be in my area and the first thing that happens when I go with one of them to sign up for medicaide and WIC, is that they will be bombarded with brochures and advice touting adoption. Even when these young women make it clear that they are keeping their baby, they still hear it. Another young, married friend of mine was approached by her OB/GYN's NURSE about adoption "since (she) is so young and all...." Grrrrr

that kind of thing. But nothing. Wow, maybe you dumbfounded them. Or maybe they lost interest when they realized they would look moronic talking smack about something they really aren't very educated about.
I do agree that using BSE criteria to suggest what's going on now is the same is not going to get the point accross. Not because I don't love the BEBA site and all, but when it gets a little roo extreme, it looses the power to be heard. which sucks.
